Ranking the shitty dads in The Starry Love from least worst to Please Die Now

- Beast King - Tried to have his son arrested. Though to be fair his son did crash an important diplomatic event & nearly triggered a war. And he helped try to set him up with a cute princess. Listens to his wife.

- Void Tyrant - Massacred an entire tribe except for one he kept around as a fucktoy, tried to use the end of the world as a distraction for starting shit, & ordered the execution of his son & his son’s gf wife. But did let Qing Kui set up a hospital, so there’s that.

- Heavenly Emperor - Treats his eldest son as a living weapon (& barely seems aware he has two other kids) & refuses to let him be resurrected on account that he might gain an actual personality. But I suppose there is the vague justification that it’s for the sake of the universe (look, it’s a shitty justification but at least there’s some excuse).

- Human Emperor - Treats his youngest daughter so badly that the wicked stepmother from Cinderella would be telling him to dial it back a little. All because... she’s supposedly a bad omen or something? Which is not only shitty as a father, but also makes him a terrible politician. He set his abused daughter up in a political marriage to ensure peace between realms. Like, what was he gonna do if the Voidwalkers got mad over how she’d been treated compared to her sister & saw that as a slight?
