Zhaozai Palooza Afterglow Sunday

Originally my plans for the Palooza were way more ambitious. l was going to write three different fics for each day - one each for Hakozai, Urzai & Zhaozai. But I dithered on actually writing anything, & then I decided I was gonna move to the other end of the country (on the 28th, right in the middle of the Palooza) because fuck it. So l had to abandon that & consolidate the most fleshed out ideas for each ship into a week’s worth of content.

‘Detective Sokka & the Mystery of the Hickey’ also got stripped down from my original vision. It was meant to be longer & involve more characters/investigation. But l dithered on actually getting any writing done & a week before the Palooza l only had 2/3 of ’An Evening’s Escape’ written. I managed to get the others done before l moved, but I hadn’t even started on that one. And it wasn’t a straightforward move as I’m still looking for a place so I’m crashing with my brother.

Also the final drafting/editing process was complicated by one of my brother’s cats, who sat on my lap demanding constant petting.
