Banking Weirdness

So an odd thing happened to me today (well, yesterday, but I haven't been to bed yet).

I went to withdraw money from an ATM inside the bank but the receipt didn't appear afterwards, even though there was no 'out of paper' error. I sort of stand there in confusion for a moment wondering if I'd maybe hit the button for cash without a receipt by accident. Then suddenly the machine slides back leaving an empty shell, & there's a guy back there. After staring blankly at him, I tell him I need my receipt, & he fishes it out of the machine & physically hands it to me through the hole where the screen had been. Really surreal. Like getting a glimpse through the looking glass.
