Had to pre-order the fucking thing twice. Ordered from Waterstones weeks ago, but the day before the release date I’d heard nothing, checked the listing on the site & saw it said “We can order this from the publisher. UK delivery within 3-4 weeks.” & was like uh, no???? So I hedged my bets by placing an order with WH Smith. AND GUESS WHICH ONE SHOWED UP. Meanwhile Waterstones just sent out an email saying ‘You might receive it in a couple weeks I guess? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk’.

(Half tempted not to cancel the order because I mostly used my loyalty points on it so I’m not losing out much & it’d be cool to have 2 of everything.)
